I’ve been quietly maintaining a model that grades NHL players, projects their next eight years, and estimates contract value. It’s been living inside R scripts and a Streamlit dashboard for friends. This site is the public version.

What’s here

• Player ratings — OVR, GAR, SPAR for every NHL skater going back to 2007-08.
• Projections — eight years forward, with year-by-year SPAR and variance.
• Contract value — what a player is worth in cap dollars, plus the probability the contract delivers positive surplus.
• Season simulator — projected standings from team rosters.

The model itself is private. The outputs are here.

What’s next

The site launches with feature parity to my Streamlit app, then expands. Team pages, draft tools, and a GM mode are all in the pipeline. If you’ve followed Dom Luszczyszyn or DARKO and wished there were a hockey-specific equivalent that was open about its math, that’s the goal.
