Off The Rush

Off The Rush is an independent NHL analytics project built around a proprietary player rating and projection model. The model produces player-season ratings for every NHL skater since 2007 — including offence, defence, special teams, and penalty components — and projects each player's trajectory eight years forward with explicit uncertainty bands.

Everything you see on this site is generated from the same model that powers the contract value cards, the projection trajectories, and the season simulator. Updates roll in regularly through the season as new data arrives.
